Overview

This 3-day safari starts and ends in Kampala. Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular tourist destination, offering breathtaking scenery and an abundance of wildlife. The park is home to over 600 varieties of bird and 95 mammal species, including lion, elephant, hippo, leopard, buffalo, hyena, warthog and various antelope. This tour is perfect for those with limited time or budget, without compromising game viewing among the stunning surroundings.

Day By Day

Day 1 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast you will be met by our company driver/guide at your hotel and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park with a picnic lunch to enjoy along the route. You will enter the park for your first game drive where you will search for warthog, elephant, topi, Cape buffalo and many tropical birds. Later in the evening you will check-in at Engiri Game Lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2 Game Drive and Boat ride on Kazinga Channal

After an early morning breakfast you will take off for a morning game drive within the park where you will see the famous “Big Five”, including buffalo, elephant, lion. You will also see the giant forest hog, bushbuck, kob, hyena and waterbuck. After lunch you will launch from the dock on a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel. On the cruise you will see large numbers of elephant, hippo, buffalo and crocodile; as well as a large number of bird species, including the rare shoebill. Later in the evening you will return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3 Chimpanzees Tracking Back to Kampala

You will wake very early in the morning, have breakfast and then head to Kalinzu Forest for Chimpanzee trekking. You will be amazed to see these primates in their natural habitat as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food, etc.. Later you will check-out of the lodge and embark on an exciting road trip back Kampala with a picnic lunch to enjoy along the journey. You will arrive late in the evening for your flight home. This is where your safari will end.
