Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda

At Arrival at Entebbe Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our Driver and Transfer in Kampala. Kampala is Uganda’s national and commercial capital bordering Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest lake. Depending on the time of your Arrival you have a short city tour to see Kampala’s Hills covered with red-tile villas and trees surrounding an urban center of contemporary skyscrapers and Visit the Lubiri Palace, the former seat of the Buganda Kingdom at Mengo Hill. Dinner and Over night at your Hotel.

Day 2: Visit Jinja and The Source of Nile

Have breakfast and your guide will be ready to transfer you to Jinja with a smooth drive through the famous Mabira forest and Lugazi as you take in the scenic landscapes characterized by tea and sugarcane plantations. Arrive Jinja and visit the source of the Nile River after which you will transfer to Jinja Nile Resort, check in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you will Visit the source of the might Nile river and go for a boat cruise and explore the River, taking in all its beauty. The cruise lasts about 2 hours and you will return to the Hotel well in time for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen elizabeth National Park

Wake up in the Morning Take your Breakfast, At 8.00 am you will be met by our company driver guide at your hotel and depart for Queen Elizabeth national park. You will have lunch en route. Enter the park for an evening game drive where you will search for Warthogs, African Elephants, Topis, Cape Buffalo and many tropical birds. Diner and overnight.

Day 4: Game Drive in Queen Elizabeth national Park

Have an early morning breakfast then go for a morning game drive within the park. Anticipate to see the famous big five including Buffalos, elephants, Lions and other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas and water bucks. In the afternoon hours you will get ready for a launch cruise along Kazinga channel. You will appreciate the high scores of Elephants, Hippos, Buffalos and crocodiles. A number of bird species will also be seen along including the rare shoe bill. Diner and overnight.

Day 5: Chimpanzees Trekking and Transfer to Kisoro

After a very early morning breakfast, head to Kalinzu Forest around 6-00 am for Chimpanzee tracking to meet man’s closet cousins in the wild. You will be amazed to see these primates as they play, swing on tree branches, fight for food etc. Later embark on an exciting road trip and Transfer To Kisoro (Lunch en route), arriving late evening, meet the Batwa pygmies, the oldest inhabitants of the Central African rain forest and share their culture.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking experience

Begin the day with an energizing breakfast ready for memorable gorilla trekking, which begins with a briefing from the starting point. You will be given the guidelines of handling yourselves before the mighty Gorillas and allocation of the guide/ranger and the Gorilla group that we will have preferably have booked prior to make sure the trek brings the an everlasting memory you shall have for life. back and Transfer to Kigali Rwanda Via Katuna Border.

Day 7: Visit the Genocide memorial and transfert to Nyanza

After breakfast in Kigali ou will visit the Rwanda Genocide Memorial and drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park passing through magnificent views of the beautiful hilly countryside which gives Rwanda its name as “a country of a thousand hills”. During your drive you will visit Nyanza King’s Palace where a guide to take you through the entire palace educating you about the ancient Rwandan Kingdom. The King’s house is one of the magnificent attractions you can never afford to miss. You will then continue on your travels to the National Archaeological Museum in Butare where you will tour the museum and have lunch. After lunch Proceed to Nyungwe, Arrive late in afternoon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Chimpanzees Trekking, Canopy Walk and Drive to Kibuye

You will wake early, around 4:30 am, Take breakfast and set off into the forest to track chimpanzees. During your walk inside the forest you may encounter other primates, animals and bird species. In the afternoon you will return to the Guest House for lunch. In the evening you will take off on a canopy walk where you will view a variety of animal species and beautiful landscape. After this walk you will return to the Guest House for checking out and transfer to Kibuye, arrive late in the evening, take your dinner and overnight.

Day 9: Transfer to Gisenyi at The border of Rwanda and Congo

After Break fast at Shore of Lake Kivu we drive to Volcanoes National park via Gisenyi. During this drive, you will have the opportunity to see the daily lives of the people at the countryside as it has been lived for centuries, virtually unchanged. This is a very scenic route and provides the opportunity to see the people at work – cultivating bananas, cassava, sorghum, beans, rice, potatoes, and even coffee in their steep and tiny fields. In addition, there are several massive tea plantations, villages, innumerable tiny brickworks, and surprises around every corner. Arrival at Gisenyi for lunch and Visit the Border of Rwanda and Congo DRC. Gisenyi is the crossong point to Congo so will also have thr opportunity to see the town of Goma from this city. Goma was devastated by the eruption of the Nyiragongo volcano. Dinner and overnight.

Day 10: Hike Bisoke Volcano and Visit of the Twin lake Ruhondo and Burera

Wake up at 5:00 am and take off for a 2 hour drive to Volcanoes Park. Upon arrival, Take breakfast and then take off to the park Station for briefing by the park warden. After the briefing, drive to the starting point of the hike. During the earlier ascend You shall observe a range of different of unique plants as you cross from one vegetation zone to another. Throughout the trek you shall make occasional stops to rest a bit and take in the magnificent scenery all around. Finally you get to the summit which is flat with a big Crater Lake measuring about 400 meters of diameter and estimated depth of about 100 meters. Though the volcano is shared between Rwanda and Congo, the entire Bisoke summit lies within Rwanda. Due to the large diameter you may not afford enough time to rim the entire Crater Lake to view the other areas of the Virungas, so you can only see the peak of Mt Karisimbi and Mt Mikeno in Congo. Back take shore and visit the twin lake Ruhondo and Burela, Dinner and Overnight.

Day 11: Entertainment by Intore Dancers and Drive to Kigali

Wake up in the Morning, take your Breakfast and be Entertained by intore Dancers at Ibyiwacu culture center before driving to kigali. The “Intore”, once the elite of the traditional Rwanda army, were not only trained as military but also in high jump and dance. They were known for their remarkable technique allowing them to jump over 2m40. The Intore became worldwide famous as dancers in 1958 when the World Expo was held in Brussels. Today Intore dancers are part of the rich Rwanda folklore. The warriors dance is a jewel of the choreographic heritage of Rwanda. Dressed with a mane made of sisal fiber, Tied up on ankles, little bells jingle on each step, giving the warriors dance a thrilling rhythm. Throughout the Intore ballet, physical confrontation turns into artistic rivalry and then at “the end” comes out into a vigorous hug of the warriors. This is the most artistic gesture of friendship mutual aid and protection. Take Luch and Transfer to Kigali. End of The tour.
